Pigment reveals a mental image that I’ve known before, much like the experience of déjà vu.
From my earliest memories of horizon, I can see the line that divides sea and earth from atmosphere, void, and natural order on the Venice, California, beach.
Today I paint visual memories of the human figure, landscape, and thoughts.
To paint is to see what has been, and now is my world.
